Hitbtc are scammers. Can't transfer my Dogecoins to another exchange for 3 years. I can only sell them for 700 euros, even though they are worth around 12,000 euros. Never hit btc again.

Word to the Wise: DO NOT USE HitBTC!!!
Broken wallet for >1yr! Can't access assets, monthly inactivity fee charged, refusal to fix problem... exchange is broken=costs customer money
Over 1.5 years ago, I had assets in a DAG wallet with them that went down for maintenance. I've contacted them multiple times to which they continued to say "be patient" and now they have begun charging 'inactivity fees' for assets that I legitimately cannot move. However, they have no issue extracting the DAG in my wallet for themselves to cover those fees, and continue to hide behind their Terms of Service that were updated AFTER this problem began and I was locked out of my wallet. Should go without saying that Terms of Service, go both ways, and the organization must actually be capable of providing the service in to bid their customers to it.
I should have listened when everyone told me it was a s--t exchange. Thankfully, I never entrusted them with any substantial amounts.

The service is scammer. I made sequentially sell-buy-sell-buy orders market orders (time frame about 2 mins) which has to be placed by market price ~43000 USDT/BTC but instead I got buy the next:
Time 2022-03-25 10:32:07 Market Sell > 39 709.23 USDT/BTC
Time 2022-03-25 10:44:39 Market Buy > 48 391.99 USDT/BTC
Time 2022-03-25 10:47:00 Market Sell > 39 587.83 USDT/BTC
Time 2022-03-25 10:49:39 Market Buy > 48 333.43 USDT/BTC

Those who understand that it is impossible because during couple of minutes the price can't such volatility about 9 tousand bucks

The second.
There was no any information about withdrawal fees on their website but at the end it turned out of 40 bucks for nothing.
After mailing with support I just got:
"I am sorry the BTC fee rate turned out to be not what you expected."

Wtf? Really, you are serious?

I used it for a month to exchange smaller altcoins. I saw the price for dogecoins beeing very low there and fall for it, sended more money to buy. Now I realize, DOGECOIN cant be withdrawn and there are stuck in hitbtc. Its probably some sort of SCAM, you find reports of users to this all over the net, its going on since months.

I was happy with HitBTC for a long time, but what's been going on there for a short time is just a joke. A few cryptocurrencies have been blocked for almost 2 months, no transfers to other platforms or wallets are possible. This logically leads to a distortion of the price on the platform. While prices are booming on other platforms, they are stagnating at 50% of the market value on hitbtc. There are no proper statements or anything like that, the support is a disaster. In addition, those responsible are virtually unidentifiable. All information on addresses and names is lost somewhere. Conclusion: I got everything I could from the platform and can only advise everyone to choose a different platform. 10% of my investments are still "trapped" on hitbtc.

Clunky at first, there's a premium on the withdrawal costs. Otherwise it's a decent platform. My suggestion for newcomers is to fulfill your KYC before you get prompted as I've seen many people complain about it, a bit of foresight is enough to save you some trouble. GL out there

I trade on hitbtc regularly and I think that I know this platform quite well. It's easy in use and has a large trading volume. All needed trading options are presented although it would be great if they added fiat-to-crypto pairs. Customer service is quite alright considering how many users this exchange has.

That's a user-friendly exchange with hundreds of trading pairs. It works quite stably. The support team could have been responding quicker. I think this platform is a legit one.

I actually started out in trading because of HitBTC. It was a long time ago since I've purchased some XRP for the first time and chose to store it in HitBTC account. Since those times I got great profits and now trade daily. I can't leave my full-time job, but as an additional gain, HitBTC is a good place to start with their friendly interface and a large list of coins listed. The only thing is some delays with KYC but I think it's due to the queue.
